About

My name's Nara, and I inherited Kismet Productions from a friend, along with some radio plays. For those of you not in the amateur voice acting biz, let me explain: I post audition lines up, amateur voice actors (AVAs) record lines onto their computer, then email them to me. I listen to all of the auditions, then cast the one who best fits the character. Then I email the scripts, get the lines back, and put them all together. The finished product will be available for download on my site. It's non-profit and all for fun.

What's Happening?

Three radio plays are in production at the moment. Eternal Dragon is an ongoing series, and it's based on my friends manga, which will hopefully be put up here one day. I am currently holding auditions for one major role, and three minor ones. The other radio play is called Darkness Road, and it's adapted from Alexa Reynold's stage play. This is a one-scene, two-character bit, and casting has been completed. The Seven Stones of Athkahm has finished its preparation stage and I'm now casting.

Future Plans

Hopefully, after Eternal Dragon starts going at a steady pace, I hope to start (or restart, rather) other radio plays that have landed in my lap. You see, I'm an idea dumping ground. Of course, it would be nice to work on my own ideas some day, but for now, I go to the beat of someone else's drum. Oh yeah, my summaries suck.
Tenchi Senshi 1/2 - After playing in a cursed spring, Tenchi and the gang discover that they turn into Sailor Soldiers when they touch cold water.
Thrice Upon a Cupcake - After mistakingly landing on Earth and knocking out a human, two hapless aliens have to do time on Earth, and the unconscious Hiroko is appointed their captain.
Sacred Grounds - A futuristic cop-drama/murders-mystery/psycho-robot type thing. I really don't know how to describe it. This one's more serious than the previous ones mentioned. Kicks butt.
Untitled - A group of adventurers attempt to unite their planet, which is divided between light and darkness.
